Born on March 4, 1984,  K. Michelle showed early interest in music. In her formative years, she learned to play guitar as well as piano.Later Michelle enrolled in Bob Westbrook’s voice classes, who also trained other famous celebrities including Britney Spears (born December 2, 1981) and Just Timberlake (born January 31, 1981).

While studying at the Florida A&M University, she received a music scholarship and later became a member of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority.

Apart from movies, she has appeared in a number of TV series, including “Stevie J & Joseline: Go Hollywood”,  “L.A Hair”, “Punk’d”, “Love & Hip Hop Live: The Wedding”, “K. Michelle: My Life” and “Love & Hip Hop”.
