Though she might have worked in over 30 movies and had begun her career in 1994, Marin Hinkle is one such actress who still looks quite young. The charming woman has also worked in numerous Tv shows which include ABC television drama “Once and Again” and CBS popular sitcom “Two and a Half Men”.

Mini Bio: Born on March 23, 1966, in Tanzania, Marin is the daughter of Rodney Hinkle and Margaret R. (Polga) Hinkle. Her father worked a college dean while her mother, Margaret, works as a Justice of the Superior Court of Massachusetts. She has one younger brother, Mark who was born after the family had moved to Boston.

However, when she was 16, she had to drop off the idea, as she had accidently hurt her ankle. The injury resulted in a different career altogether. As now she wanted to be an actress, the decision about which her parents were unsure of.

She later convinced her parents and even agreed to get a degree as if her plans fail, she could be back in the teaching line. Following her passion, she first got enrolled in the Brown University, while later she studied at New York University.

Career Begining

Marin Hinkle began her career when she was 28 years old. As she first appeared on the soap opera “Another World”. The episode was aired in 1995 wherein she played the character “Alison Van Rohan”. Later she worked on Spin City(1997). While from  1999 to 2002, she appeared as “Judy Brooks” on ABC’s drama series. Apart from Television, she had also started working in movies. As prior to her career on the small screen, she had already signed and acted in the movie “Angie”, which was released in 1994.

In 2005, Hinkle was appreciated for her stage performance. She acted alongside Reg Rogers, in the naturalistic play “Miss Julie”, written by August Strindberg in 1988.

 

Dating History – Relationships

Marin Hinkle married Randall Sommer in 1998. However, Sommer, who is a New York theater director, had met Hinkle back in 1992. Later they started dating each and since then the couple has been together. From their marriage, they also have a child, whom they have kept away from the public eye.

Regarding her boyfriend or other relationships, no information is publically available. Some reports even claimed that the actress might divorce her hubby, however, none were verified.
