Formerly known as one of the most straightforward and painfully honest American Idol judges, Simon Cowell is also an active businessman, TV producer, and philanthropist.

With an annual income exceeding $ 95 million, Simon Cowell Net Worth has now ballooned all the way to $560 million. For him, it was not always a life of luxury as after struggling for 40 years, the veteran producer could finally en-cash his hard-work.

About :

Born on 7 October 1959, in Lambeth, London, Cowell grew up in  Elstree, Hertfordshire.  His father, Eric Selig Phillip Cowell, worked as an estate agent while his mother, Julie Brett, was a socialite and a ballet dancer. He completed his education from Windsor Technical College, after which he took some menial jobs to make the ends meet. Later with his father’s help, he started working in the mail room for EMI Music Publishing. However, he soon left the company in the 1980s to form his own firm which he named E&S Music. Later in 1983, he even quit from there to form Fanfare Records. At first, his newly formed company did well but after repeated losses, once again Simon was back to the regular job at BMG, as a consultant.

Still, with that entrepreneur mindset he once again resumed his music career and after seeing some more ups and downs, he could finally do well. After gaining initial fame and success as a producer, Simon was first signed as a judge for the Tv show, Pop Idol. From there, his new image as a rude judge evolved.
